Appointed as a PLT Commissioner since December 5, 2017. He completed an Accountant education at the State College of Accounting (STAN) in 1989 and received an MBA from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA in 1994.
His career began in the Ministry of Finance since 1990. Finally, he served as President Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for two periods (2009 – 2015). During his tenure as President Director, he made a number of records and progress in the capital market. One of the advances is the success of BEI in transitioning the technology of the stock trading system through Straight Through Processing (STP).
The President Director was also held at Bahana Securities in the 2003-2009 period. Previously he served as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) in the same company (2001-2003) and Director of Investment Banking at PT Danareksa Sekuritas in 1994-2001.
Served as Chair of the Nahdlatul Ulama (LPBI NU) Institute for Disaster Management and Climate Change for the period of 2015-2020, a graduate of Islamic Law at the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Faculty in Yogyakarta and the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Postgraduate Program in Islamic Law. With 17 years of work experience, he is also active in organizations outside of NU including serving as Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Humanitarian Forum (HFI), Chief Executive of the Indonesian Humanitarian Alliance (IHA), and General Chairman of the Indonesian Humanitarian Forum (HFI). His work at NU began in 2003 where he served as Finance and Administration Manager for PBNU Partnership UNDP in the program Against Corruption through the Religious Approach. He has also been actively publishing a number of articles since 2007 including the Book of Islamic Perspective on Environmental Management (PPBI NU – Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia) and Guidelines for Environmental Management Training with a PRA approach in the Religious Perspective (LPBI NU – Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia).
With more than 20 years of work experience in various fields including economics – accounting, finance, to human resources, he officially served as President Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama based on the Circular GMS as of December 20, 2019. Previously he served as President Director of PT Pendidikan Mritim and Indonesian Logistics. He completed his master’s degree in Accounting Professional Education at the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia with a Cum Laude degree.
Started his career in 1995 at PT Jamsostek (Persero) and successfully held a number of strategic positions including the Finance Director of PT Samudranayaka Grahaunggil (a subsidiary of PT Jamsostek), Head of Direct Investment Planning, Head of Direct Investment Participation, and Head of the Direct Investment Division. He served as General Director and HR of PT Jamsostek (Persero) in 2012. When PT Jamsostek (Persero) was transformed into BPJS Employment in 2014, he again assumed the mandate as General Director and HR. He also served as an Independent Commissioner of PT Pusako Tarinka, Tbk.
Based on the rotation results of a number of officials among the IPC and IPC Group Subsidiaries on December 20, 2019, he officially served as Director of Operations and Finance of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Investama where previously he was the Finance Director at PT Indonesia Vehicle Terminal, Tbk. This graduate of Brawijaya University continued her studies at Gajah Mada University and the Netherlands Maritime University. He began his career at IPC as a Finance Manager in 2008, and during his tenure he often held a number of strategic positions, especially in the financial sector including Finance Manager and Senior Treasury Manager. He has also been a consultant for Pelindo IV Port (Persero), Finance Director at PT Kanaya and Lecturer at Trisakti University Jakarta.
